“K5600 products are unique and very essential tools in my lighting palette. They are very compact and lightweight for the amount of light power they’re providing, but still robust in construction. The increasing number of accessories makes them a very efficient choice for TV production, where time is an important factor. They can easily adapt to any lighting scenario : from directional and very precise controllable light. Using Bug-A-Beam adapter to soft lighting source of almost any size and shape, combining it with lightbanks, lanterns or SOFTUBE.

The set photos I’m sending you are illustration of another aspect of my experience with K5600 products. It was hi speed shot of ingredients falling into liquid for TVC. Because of the small size of the objects, where keeping the contrast right is not easy, the task was to be precise with lighting and to achieve lighting level up to 800 fps. Combining Joker 800 with Bug-A-Beam and Alpha 4K with SPACEBEAM the job was easily accomplished. Looking back, in the past few years I can hardly recollect a project I’ve worked on as DP where K5600 lights weren’t in my lighting package for one reason or another. Even now I’m in Moscow prepping a TV series for one of the major TV channels and it wasn’t difficult to give arguments to producers how important is to have K5600 lights in our package. Based on that the rental company servicing the project decided to buy two Joker 800 and Joker 400 together with some accessories. So keep expanding the range of K5600 lights and accsessories. I’m looking forward.” Anton Bakarski, DOP
