Nikos Andritsakis wins the K5600 prize at Terre Di Cinema festival

Terre di Cinema the Italian Festival/student program in Sicily appointed the new Cinematographer award rewarded with a 200 Alpha kit.

As last year, we have a Greek winner : Nikos Andritsakis wins the 2015 New Cinematographers Award – K5600 Lighting. The 2015 Jury of the New Cinematography Award, formed by Benjamin B, Daniele Nannuzzi (AIC), Luciano Tovoli (AIC, ASC), Nancy Beso – has awarded Greek cinematographer Nikos Andritsakis for his remarkable achievements in the cinematography of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy (India, 2015, 139′, directed by Dibakar Banerjee).

During the ceremony, Nikos Andritsakis has announced his will to transfer the technical prize offered by K5600 Lighting to the CineCampus of Terre di Cinema, so that the students of the future editions will be able to use it for their shootings.
